3) In "Weird Kid" the four friends' opinions begin to change when they each take on the part of Babs. Select one episode and briefly explain how role-playing the part of Babs helps Tim, Ben, Trish, or Jennifer understand Babs' point of view.

Feather Boy is more than just a story about bullying. It’s bigger than that. Using specific examples from the text, explain how Robert found his voice, stood up for the things he truly believed in, refused to back down, and never gave up. Can you relate to Robert in any way?

One author from Horn Book writes, “This remarkable novel gives a moving view of The Outsiders from the inside. Their loyalty to each other, and their sensitivity under tough exteriors, their understanding of self and society.” Do you agree with this comment? Justify your answer using examples from the text.
